Between 16. and 21.of September the German town of Hannover hosted the 2019 EMO trade fair, which is the
leading world fair for machine tools and metalworking. It gives the exhibitors from all over the world the
chance to present their products and latest achievements.
The exhibition area of 180.000 m² welcomed 2.000 exhibitors who showed to the world their innovations in the field of machine tools and metalworking. The EMO Hannover fair is the only specialized fair which opens the doors to global markets and it is not by chance that it takes place in Germany which is one of the biggest
market for the products of said industry. This year's theme Smart technologies driving tomorrow’s production, emphasis being on future technologies for innovative production within the domain of the 4.0 industry.
The fair annually welcomes 130.000 visitors and it provides a complete overview of the smart technologies in
the field of metalworking, production systems, precision tools, measuring technologies, automated material
flow, CAx technologies, control technologies drive technologies and tools.
The production technology innovations presented at the Hannover fair set the standards for the machine tools
and metalworking industry which the producers have to live up to. Almost all the leading international
companies involved in the machine tools and metalworking industry exhibit at the EMO Hannover fair and thus make it a global market.
